Selection Rationality Analysis
Interface Size: The required interface is 50mm. We recommend an inlet/outlet diameter of DN50 (DN50 corresponds to a nominal diameter of 50mm), which meets
the interface size requirements and allows for easy connection to existing piping systems.
Regarding materials:
For flow-through components: Cast iron is required, but ductile iron (DUE) is recommended for the pump. DUE, short for spheroidal graphite cast iron, has higher strength,
better toughness, and wear resistance compared to ordinary cast iron. For pumping media such as water and magnesium hydroxide slurry, which are corrosive and abrasive,
DUE flow-through components are better suited to the working environment, reducing component damage caused by media erosion and corrosion, and extending pump life.
For diaphragm materials: Teflon (polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE) has excellent chemical stability and is resistant to corrosion from most acids, alkalis, and salts. For media
such as water and magnesium hydroxide slurry, Teflon diaphragms effectively prevent media erosion, ensuring normal pump operation.
The three-stage design further enhances the diaphragm's strength and sealing performance, further improving its reliability and service life.
Valve ball and seat material: PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) material also possesses excellent chemical stability and self-lubricating properties.
